CHILDREN'S BOOK ILLUSTRATION

FINDING A STYLE

There's no right or wrong when it comes to choosing an illustration style for your book. You may have noticed I work in several different styles and that's because each one gives a slightly different look and feel.  Sometimes it reflects a certain age group other times it is used to capture a mood. If you're not sure which is right for your book feel free to get in touch. I'm always happy to discuss ideas and help with recommendations. Finding answers is as easy as clicking a button.

WHICH ONE IS BEST?

There's a lot to consider when choosing an illustration style for your next project. Who is the audience, what mood would you like to portrait, what is the age group and demographic you want to reach? Does the art line up with the style of writing and how the story is being told?

Choosing the right art and the right artist can make all the difference. If there is one small piece of advice I can offer that will hopefully make that decision a little simpler it's this: There's no right or wrong choice so no matter what you choose always make sure you choose to work with a pro. It will go a long way toward making your project the success you deserve.
