Herbie Bear and his friends were a part of the 50-book Herbster Reader series written by Joanne Meier & Cecilia Minden and illustrated by Bob Ostrom. The books are printed by The Child's World, have been rebranded, and are now in their second printing. Beginning readers can now find them as Bear Essential Readers on the Child's World website. Herbie's new name is now Brody. Same great art, all new branding.
